They don't do anything special. They are safety rated, polarized and have bluetooth and are fine for that. But I was looking for more.

These are so cool! I was so excited to receive my new pair after my first pair broke. The customer service department was easy to work with after I explained that my old pair, just under a year old broke. We communicated through e-mail and they happily provided me with a replacement! I like the flexibility of listening without headphones- and the volume is still good enough not to disturb others around me.

If this was the only pair of smart glasses I ever wore then I’d probably be a little more enthusiastic about them. They work great in that I can somewhat discretely listen to music with glasses on, but unfortunately the quality just isn’t up to par with the more expensive brands. Having owned a pair of Bose Tenors means I have a frame of reference (pun intended). As expensive and bulky as those frames were, the sound quality was on point, and since the speakers were closer to my ears I could hear music better and more discretely so as not to enable others around me to listen in (a necessity in my work as I am not allowed to have headphones in - this was supposed to be my loophole). Another thing about my Bose frames was that third party lenses were readily available (I used transition lenses) and they had touch-based controls on the side of the frames. Those frames lasted me 2 years before the charging system somehow broke and the company no longer supports or even manufactures the product, which led me to OhO. It’s a somewhat adequate substitute that I am leaning towards being unsatisfied with, but they did a pretty good job with building something like this at such a low price point.
